A Life Lived Beyond The Idea of Being Alone
When she was four years old her parents decided that she would be an "only child." She became a creative child who made toys out of boxes. She became an inventive child who found ways to build and a studious child who taught herself things. She was also imaginative. She listened to the sounds of the spirits around her. She was never bored and she never felt alone.
When she was in elementary school she was not the child who chased after others. She did her own thing. When in high school she didn't fit in with the "cliques" and she wasn't one of the "popular girls." This didn't bother her.
In her senior year she fell in love for the first time. Her boy friend took her to dinners and movies. They talked on the telephone for hours and finally they made love, however, one day after many months of dating he said, "I'm not ready to get serious" and he ended the relationship.
In college she moved out of her parent's home and into her own apartment which she shared with another young woman who she became close friends with. Together she and her room-mate sat up until wee hours of the mornings talking about everything and anything. They shared coffee and wine, clothes, jewelry, boy friends, thoughts, ideas, hope. They shared life until one day her friend announced that she would soon transfer to an out of state college and move away.
When she graduated from college she began her career as an advertising copywriter and fell in love for the second time. Unlike her previous relationship this was serious and she got married. Together she and her new husband bought a house and a year later had a baby boy. They worked long hours and spent their weekends "catching up." They lived this fast paced life for twenty years until she received a call from the nearby hospital while at work. Her husband had had a massive heart attack and was dead at forty two.
Her son married young and she became a grandmother. She spent her weekends babysitting and doting on her grandchildren. They were an extension of the life that she had known with her husband until her daughter in law told her that she "needed space." A month later her son called and told her that they were planning on moving out of state.
She became friendly with one of the women whom she worked with. This friend invited her to a spiritual center where she learned to do yoga and meditate. She was introduced to a spiritual master and received what was called; "Shaktipat" which she was told was the awakening of her divine energy. Afterward, she sat in a chair with closed eyes and felt this energy rise from her tail bone and upward through her spine. She felt it cascade around her. She felt as if she was spinning within the energy, moving around and around and upward within her own body! She had never felt anything like this. The energy continued to pulsate through her body spinning her and she sensed that it was about to unleash itself through the top of her head. It was more powerful than anything that she had ever known and suddenly she wasn't sure that she could survive it. She opened her eyes and took several deep breaths. Her Kundalini had been awakened and she knew that God had touched her.
Her life was changed completely.
From that day forward she knew that no matter who came into her life or who left her life she would never be alone. God was within her as her. This realization had made her aware that she had all of the power within to manifest a life of the divine. She knew that this was her destiny and she smiled. She knew love because she knew herself.
She began to experience angels who visited her. She had dreams that came true and she was spoken to by prophets. She saw energy around other people and she saw spirits. She moved in the realms of the highest lights. She knew that anything was now possible!
When you know your most divine self you are never alone.
